What’s a mistake you see borrowers make that’s easy to avoid?
The biggest mistake I have seen, especially with novice first home buyers, is purchasing a property without speaking to a broker to determine affordability
What does a good outcome actually look like — beyond just getting the loan approved?
A good outcome for me looks like a growing portfolio for the clients; watching my clients get to the point where they can start to retire, live off their passive income and start living life for themselves.
What does your ideal client relationship look like?
My ideal client relationship is more of a friendship; many of my clients have become friends over the years while I have gotten their lending sorted
The Watagans — give us the sell. Why should someone go?
I think every Coastie should go to the Watagans, some of the most amazing natural scenery on the Coast; species of trees that you don’t see anywhere else, close proximity to wildlife like wallabies, kangaroos and goannas, the history – part of the original convict built route from Sydney to Cessnock, and that view from the top of the mountains out east is unbeatable
